Screens that Add Comfort to Your Bali Gazebo

    Insect screens

Mosquitoes, flies, bees, wasps and other pesky insects  often prohibit us from enjoying an outdoor gazebo. Insect screens play an important role by keeping them at bay, affording you a comfortable time relaxing in your beloved gazebo.

Generally, insect screens are attached to the vertical supports of your gazebo with zippers or Velcro tape. When using Velcro tape, it is best to use an outside hang using two panels with one short panel covering a single facet where you enter and exit and one large panel covering the remaining exposure. Curtain panels meet at support columns where you can secure the side bindings. They can be retracted easily so that your view from within the gazebo is not obstructed in times when insects are not a concern.

    Solar screens

If your outdoor bali gazebo doesn’t have sufficient natural or architectural overhead shading elements such as lattice sides and climbing plants, it might get too hot on a sunny day. Adding solar screens would eliminate the hot radiating sun’s direct rays from entering the interior of your gazebo, making your gazebo experience far more comfortable and relaxing.

Gazebo solar screens are typically made of mesh, sun-resistant fabric that can eliminate over 90% of the sun’s ultra-violet rays. The gazebo sun screens come in panels which can be fastened to the gazebo poles with Velcro.

    Privacy screens for hot tubs

If your bali gazebo houses a hot tub, you might want additional privacy. Made from canopy-fabric, privacy screens provide you complete privacy when you attach them to your gazebo supports with Velcro fasteners.

The style of the privacy screens should coordinate with the architecture of your gazebo. Think about ornamentation, texture, color, design, weight, and materials. You want the screens to blend in with the rest of the gazebo’s structure. Set correctly, they also serve as decorative screens that add to the beauty of your gazebo.

    Windscreens

Sometimes, too much wind can be irritating. When you want to enjoy a quiet dinner or soak in a hot tub in your gazebo, a windstorm may suddenly take the fun out of your activities. In such situations, gazebo windscreens provide excellent protection. These gazebo screens are typically made of thick, clear plastic that you can fasten to your gazebo rails with Velcro fasteners. While the screens keep strong winds out, the clear plastic lets you enjoy the sights of your garden.

There are also screens that provide a dual function, both as a solar screen and a windscreen. Made of UV-stabilized viny mesh, they are permeable to wind while reducing light penetration.
